About our projects
Magma Geopark is part of several projects on local, regional and international level. Most projects are operating in more than one level, as the usually development starts locally, and by sharing best practice methods with project partners internationally.
The projects are done on the themes of geology, education, local history and culture as well as regional tourism development. General manager of Magma Geopark, Pål Thjømøe, is the contact person for the projects.
You can browse our finished projects on the timeline below. More information about the new project applications for the future projects project can be found from our blog.
