On 16 June, we finally completed the first “Get to know your region” event for the local tourism industry in Magma Geopark. This is part of the development project UNESCO2030, which is the local implementation of the EU project Ruritage.Due to the time we live in, the original plan of a bus trip around the region to experience our diverse offer to guests and visitors had to be adjusted to a digital version this time. This autumn, we hope to complete part 1 of the physical “Get to know your region”. All local businesses in tourism are very welcome to participate!All 5 UNESCO municipalities presented their local offerings in a brilliant way. The participants got a good overview of experiences, activities, accommodation, and local food / restaurants. The event was filmed in its entirety and will be available on the digital learning and knowledge platform that is being rolled out soon.Thank you very much for the good attendance, great presentations, and good input / questions!
