Global Geopark Network presents the 1st Film Festival!

Are you a filmmaker working inside the municipality of Eigersund, Flekkefjord, Lund, Bjerkreim or Sokndal?  Would you like to tell a story related to the wonderful unique town or village you are living in? We are looking for you!

We´d like to share this very interesting opportunity coming from the UNESCO Global Geoparks:  today there are 147 UNESCO Global Geoparks in 41 nations, organized in a Global Network (Global Geoparks Network) and Magma UNESCO Global Geopark is one of those. 

The Festival selected themes that are, among others, the following: heritage conservation, conservation actions on geological or natural or cultural or intangible heritage, education, research/innovation, poverty reduction, sustainable development, etc. A specific attention will be given, this year, on production connected with gender equality in Geoparks, Geopark’s community empowerment and relations/actions between Geoparks and indigenous communities.
