New website about geoparks in the world
Ever wanted to know more about geoparks? Global Geopark Network has launched a website where they present information about geoparks in an easy and comprehensible way. The page aims to promote the Global Geoparks Network as unique rural destinations around the Globe.
You can find descriptions of all the activities related to geological, natural, cultural and intangible heritage of 147 territories in 41 Nations. Since 2010 Magma UNESCO Global Geopark is member of the Network contributing with its activities related to sustainable development, education and tourism.
