Re- evaluation in Magma Geopark for keeping the UNESCO Global Geopark status

The first couple of days of re-validation mission in Magma Geopark, we got experience Nordic weather, goat ūüźź farm Veen Gardscamping GEOfood partner L√łyning g√•rd 10/3 S√¶stad , learn about moon rocks at the Geopark locations, walking to the Eigeroy lighthouse (windy ), making pottery at the Dalane Pottery Museum-Dalane Folkemuseum had amazing dinner with local food from EIGRA kj√łkken & bar Grand Hotell Egersund

We experience the rock carving, the nice panorama, and shows our progress last 4 years to keep standards for UNESCO Global Geoparks status.

During the second day of re-validation we have visited Ankerus mines, Den Brune Bie where the Geopark is establishing the #beesafari for experience the honey ¬†production, we have been guided by Dalane Folkemuseum and J√łssingfjord Vitenmuseum -Science Museum Director, visiting #helleren houses ; Flekkefjord at Flekkefjord videreg√•ende skole with Federico H√•land Gaeta marine biologist teacher, been in the mine took the school boat to Hidra amazing island and eat at Isbua active partner for wonderful dinner

Third day field work with re-validation mission from UNESCO external appointed evaluators went to Storeknuten new Geopark location, Lund kommune Lund Bygdemuseum og Kulturbank visiting the amazing collection, the apple garden and biodiversity project, then to Velferden Sokndals Scene for Samtidskunst talking about art- mining- landscape and connections, then Sogndalstrand Kulturhotell for documents and discussions finally back at Eigersund kommune for concert with rocks percussionists within the singing rocks project!
