GEOsites are sites of special cultural (pink) and/or geological (blue) interest that are not classified as a location in the Geopark. It also includes areas for special recreational activities and viewpoints (green).
Skadbergsanden is the only known Anorthosite beach in the world. Easy accessible. Close to Egersund and Eigerøy lighthouse. Known for it's clear, fresh water.
Thrilling climb up the gorge, and also magnificent climbing walls for experienced climbers.
Magnificent viewpoint and an important landmark for ships over hundreds of years. On a clear day you can see Lista in the south.

Viewpoint. When entering from the Mjølhus side you walk on intrusions and crystallized plagioclase.
A beautiful pebble beach close to the magnificent caves in Brufjell.
Recreational area in the centre of Egersund. Locals use it for jogging, volleyball, swimming, bathing, hiking and climbing.
Skydalsheia is located between Ualand and Eik in Hovsherad. Here was the old post road between Stavanger and Kristiansand. Start at Oak Treskofabrikk. You walk in woods, at the water's edge and on the mountain. Krossen is a large wooden cross that stands about 440 meters above sea level. The trip is about 11 km round trip. Read more here.
Fossbrekka is located at Storåna, which flows from Maudalsvatnet to Espeland. Lanes you will find a few miles further into the valley. The starting point for the trip is the parking lot just off the river at Espeland. Follow the road into the valley. On the trip there are great waterfalls, powerful mountains, paths and ancient settlements. About 9,8 km back and forth. Read more here and here.
Recreation area with possibility for swimming, jogging, walking and outdoor activities. Every year in April, "Bersevatnet around" is arranged.
Rekreasjons område med mulighet for bading, jogging, gåturer og friluftsliv. Hvert år i april arrangeres "Bersevatnet rundt".
The park is a memorial to Rogaland soldiers who have fallen in favor of the UN. The park is near E39 just off Vikeså Road Service.
Parken er et minnesmerke over soldater fra Rogaland som er falt i tjeneste for FN. Parken ligger nær E39 like ved Vikeså Veiservice.

Is an ancient coastal fortress that was built in the first part of the 16th century under Christian IV and closed in 1826. The fort is located at the entrance to Egersund harbor with views of both southern and northern seas. There are restored cranes and cannons on the fort. At the foot of the battery, in the sea, the aluminum figure "Linda" is performed by the artist Hanny T. Konttinen. Arrival from the center towards Eigerøy, turn left before tunel, then right and then left into Åsanevegen. Drive through the factory area where there is a parking space. Look for a wooden staircase that goes obliquely from the road. More information.
