Take a trip to Trollpikken<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you want to take the kids for a walk in the great outdoors, you can tempt them with a rock that became world-famous a few years ago: Trollpikken. A trip to this fascinating rock formation is perfect for adventurous children - and adults. Here in the area, we have the same type of unique rock that is also found on the moon. Walk on moon rocks and experience the unique lunar landscape, which is part of the Magma UNESCO Global Geopark<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before your trip starts, you might want to pack a few goodies in your rucksack. You can also visit Egersund's very own soft drink factory, Berentsens Brygghus<\/a>, which has been here since 1895. There's something here for young and old alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beach lions and sand crabs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you want your children to really enjoy their holiday, they'll want to go swimming. Egersund offers several beautiful swimming spots. Do you prefer fresh water? Visit the river park close to the town centre or Vannbassengan, which has several freshwater pools for a refreshing dip in beautiful surroundings. At the same time, take the opportunity to go up to some of the beautiful viewpoints where you can study the city from a bird's eye view. If you'd rather swim in salt water, the beautiful Skadbergsanden on Eiger\u00f8ya is the right destination. The beach is shallow and perfect for children who want to frolic in the sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Skadbergsanden and Vannbassengene you can play frisbee golf and volleyball, and Egersund has a skate park and several great climbing parks and playgrounds for children and young people. The skate park is located close to the Dalane Folk Museum at Sletteb\u00f8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The beautiful archipelago also invites you to enjoy other great activities. Your imagination is the only limit to where you can try a fishing rod. Or perhaps you're more tempted to lure out some sand crabs? You can hire a boat and fishing equipment at the guest harbour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
