In collaboration with 22 landowners, the municipality has built a 2-kilometre road to the lighthouse building. A car park has been constructed with toilet facilities, and a small strait has been dredged between Midtbr\u00f8d\u00f8y and Eiger\u00f8y so that leisure boats can get to the lighthouse inland. At the top there are binoculars for details of the terrain. At the foot of Varberg, at the end of \u00d8vre Presteg\u00e5rdsvei, there are petroglyphs or ruins from the Late Bronze Age (approx. 1000 - 500 BC). This field consists of 2 ship figures. Signposted from the city centre, 15 min. walk or car to car park 5 min. There is a marked trail to Trollpikken from Egersund town centre. The exhibitions also show how the faience factory was a cornerstone of Egersund town. Egersund Faience Museum is a department of Dalane Folkemuseum, the regional museum for Dalane. Dalane Folkemuseum has rich and extensive collections, with facilities spread throughout Dalane. The beach is shallow and a favourite among the locals. Great for the whole family. Toilet facilities. Large car park and easily accessible by car or bus from the city centre. HC car park. The road winds between and through rocks and boulders and impressive stonework has been laid down in the old line. A great trip! This used to be a typical coastal farm where fishing and farming went hand in hand - a so-called combination farm. The infield is characterised by sheltered and idyllic grass meadows surrounded by lush deciduous forest belts. The outfield stands in stark contrast with grey mountains and rocks, which are interwoven with barren heather and grassland. The seaside neighbourhood of Vandringshavn is the heart of the area. Good car parking, nature and cultural information, toilets, marked paths etc. Year-round track compulsory. Follow Rv. 502, turn left after Eiger\u00f8y bridge. There can never be too many festivals in this town. Egersund offers itself and shows off its diversity.
