Eigersund is a paradise for fishing enthusiasts who love fresh sea air and beautiful nature. With a rich coastal fishing tradition that has evolved from a necessity of life to a popular pastime, the Eigersund coast offers countless opportunities for recreation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are many good fishing spots along the coast, and a detailed sea fishing map for the municipality is available. If you want an extra experience, you can book a guided fishing trip or hire a boat from NAF Steinsnes Camping to explore the fishing waters from the sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Freshwater fishing and salmon fishing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Eigersund also offers some of the best salmon fishing in Norway. Tengselva is famous for the salmon's journey through the river and the salmon ladder - a fascinating experience for all ages. Bjerkreimselva also has a reputation as one of Norway's best salmon rivers, both nationally and internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fishing licence fee: <\/strong>
Required for persons over the age of 18 who fish in watercourses with salmon and sea trout. The fee can be paid online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Available from Inatur, Dalane Milj\u00f8- og Ressurslag and the County Governor of Rogaland, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
