Leisure boats have plenty of mooring options in the strait and in Egersund guest harbour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The long and hilly coastal strip offers many opportunities for small boat travellers. There are several anchorages for small boats in the strait. At these locations there are toilets and rubbish collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mastrasanden<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A boating area that also has access from the mainland. Sheltered bay with shallow sandy beach. From the car park at Trosavigveien, it is about a 15-minute walk on a marked path. Facilities include toilets and information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Located at the far end of the northern entrance to Egersund and only accessible by boat. The island is covered with coniferous forest and surrounded by rocky outcrops and steep cliffs. Jetty, toilet, information board and mooring bolts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sundsgabsholmen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Is one of several islands in a small archipelago located in the northern entrance to Egersund. Only accessible by boat. The islet is covered with rock pine and surrounded by steep rocky beaches. Facilities include a jetty, mooring bollards, toilet and information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gyarhamn<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Is one of the most popular boating areas in Eigersund. The harbour is located in a short \"fjord arm\" with two smaller branches. Alternates between steep rocks and rocky outcrops surrounded by coniferous forest. Two facilitation points with jetties and information. Mooring bolts and toilet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c6sand - Navar sand<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This is a stretch of coastline with four small but beautiful beaches. The beaches are wedged between steep mountains. They are shallow and consist of small pebbles. Mostly used in connection with boating. No facilitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is organised with an emphasis on boat access. The shoreline consists of cracked rocks bordering coniferous forest. Organised with a jetty, information, toilet and mooring bolts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Egersund Guest harbour<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Located in the inner harbour, has a service building with kiosk and outdoor seating. Toilets, laundry room, washing machine and drying room. The guest harbour is managed by Egersund Seilforening.
