Along the way, you follow a gravel road through a culturally historical landscape shaped by the mining industry that once left its mark on the valley. The hike is suitable for the whole family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Bl\u00e5fjell Mines are one of several historic mines in the Magma UNESCO Global Geopark. The unique geology of the area laid the foundation for the extraction of iron ore from ilmenite in the Bl\u00e5fjell Mines between 1863 and 1875. Today, walls, mine shafts and remains of the railway line testify to a time when the Bl\u00e5fjell Valley was an important industrial area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Audio-guided tour<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Scan the QR code or click on the link to book your trip and get started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once you have downloaded the tour, you will see a map showing all the stops. The first stop is always at the parking lot\/start of the tour.
