Guided tour to Vinjakula - at the top of Magma Geopark

Panoramic views, wild geology and a sense of achievement

Vinjakula, 907 metres above sea level, is the highest point in the entire Magma Geopark and a natural destination for those who want a true mountain experience. Together with a guide from Agale, you'll walk through rugged gneiss landscapes, across open plateaus and up steeper sections that require effort and a bit of splitting.
The reward at the top is formidable, with sweeping views of Bjerkreim, Gjesdal and the surrounding mountains. Along the way, Agale offers local flavours and refreshments. The hike is demanding, but doable for most people with a good level of fitness, and takes around four hours round trip.
