Geopark activities for primary school

Magma Geopark, in collaboration with Dalane Folkemuseum, offers an educational programme for all 5th and 8th grade students at Jøssingfjord Science Museum.

Magma UNESCO Global Geopark is an area with world-class geology. The mineral resources in the bedrock here have been important to the region and have provided the basis for a rich mining history. Learn more about the link between geology, mining and how the characteristic lunar landscape was created through the “Geology and Mining” educational programme.
