Green beach

Grønnes is located just south of Flekkefjord town, on the east side of the fjord. The area's immediate proximity to the town and other buildings makes it an attractive recreational area for young and old alike.

Popular and idyllic, small sandy beach with jetty, lawn with benches, large roofed barbecue and lovely views towards the city centre. HC toilet and good parking facilities.

Torsøyene is a central and beautiful destination for seafarers. The well-organised jetties allow deep-draught boats to dock. The sandy beach and lawns provide good opportunities for swimming and playing.

Kjørsfjell

The popular Kjørsfjell viewpoint offers panoramic views across Hidrasundet to Hidra, Lista and Hidreheia. Turn off onto Itlandsveien and then follow the road to the car park at Itland. The path up to Kjørsfjell is well marked.

Rauli round

Signposted and marked round trip of 7.5 km from Flekkefjord town centre, along the eastern side of the fjord past Grønnes bad and the Rauli outdoor area, up through the building site, through pine forest and over Høgåsen and down Trolldalen back to the town centre.

A short distance from the town centre is Høgåsen, and the viewpoint here offers a fine view of large parts of Flekkefjord's town centre. An evening trip up here is highly recommended, as the sunset can be enjoyed from the "good chair" positioned here.
