It combines physical activity, fresh air and some of the region's most unique attractions - all based in Flekkefjord. Along the way, you'll also enjoy local food and good company. This is a day for those who want to feel their heart rate rise, explore dramatic landscapes and finish with relaxation by the sea.
08:00 Start the day with horse-drawn sleigh rides on the Flekkefjord Railway. Booking is recommended at flekkefjordbanen.no.
12:00 Lunch at Tollboden Bakeri in the city centre. Table reservations are recommended at tollbodenbakeri.no.
13:30 Departure to Brufjell for a hike to Brufjellhålene (approx. 3 hours round trip). No booking required.
17:30 Back in Flekkefjord, get ready for your evening swim.

You'll pedal custom-built trolleys through lush landscapes, historic tunnels and over airy bridges, with sweeping views of fjords, forests and mountains. A flavourful break: fresh pastries and stone-baked pizza

Challenge and reward: climbing, views and geological wonders
After lunch, the tour continues to Brufjell - one of southern Norway's most iconic hiking destinations. Here, a hike awaits that offers both challenges and fantastic nature experiences. The trail winds through varied terrain, with panoramic views of the sea and Listalandet along the way.
The highlight is Brufjellhålene - rare, horizontal potholes formed by the sea more than 20,000 years ago, spectacularly located 15 metres above the water. Here you can climb down to the holes and feel both the adrenaline and awe of the forces of nature. The trip takes about 3 hours round trip and requires good shoes and a sense of adventure - but the reward is an unforgettable experience.

Relaxation and refreshment: sea bath, diving tower and sauna
After a day filled with activity, Grønnes sjøbad provides the perfect transition to a calm and refreshing evening by the water. Here you can take a cooling swim, jump off the diving tower or simply enjoy the soft evening light over the fjord. The wood-fired sauna provides extra comfort and warmth, creating a peaceful setting to relax as the sun sinks behind the hills. The day ends with dinner at Grand Gastro, one of the city's most popular restaurants. Here you'll be served a varied selection of dishes made from local ingredients, in a cosy and lively atmosphere. The menu ranges from classic favourites to modern flavours, with a focus on quality and the best seasonal ingredients. The restaurant is centrally located in historic surroundings and provides the perfect end to a day full of activities and experiences.
