Tarmevika is sheltered in a small cove on the eastern side of Andabeløy in Flekkefjord municipality. People used to live here, but the houses were eventually moved to the other settlements on the island. It is now a state-protected recreational area.
Cosy coastal cabin with simple and rustic style - The cabin has four benches that can be folded out for sleeping, two fixed hammock places and a small loft that can also be used for accommodation.
Remember to bring a sleeping bag, sheets, pillowcases and water. The kitchenette is equipped with everything you need for simple cooking: a wood-burning stove, pots, frying pan, plates, glasses, cups and cutlery. There is also a gas hob with two burners.
The cabin is not isolated, but has a charming atmosphere that invites relaxation and presence. Ideal for those seeking simplicity and proximity to the coast!
HEATING
Wood stove for heating.
TOILET
The cabin has a toilet with access from the outside. This is public and can also be used by others who use the area.
VANN
There is no water at the cabin, so it is recommended to bring your own drinking water.
LOCATION & ACCESS
The easiest way to get here is by boat, but Tarmevika can also be reached on foot (3.2 km from the ferry). Then take the ferry across from Abelnes to Andabeløy. The ferry is free of charge, so you can bring your car across. Parking facilities on both the island and Abelnes are limited, so during holidays and peak seasons it can be a bit of a challenge to find parking. On Andabeløy there are parking facilities down by the harbour, on the east side of the island.
