Line pollen

Linepollen is a well-maintained swimming area and a popular outdoor recreation area, just a short drive from the center of Hauge in Dalane. The calm freshwater, small sandy beach and scenic surroundings make the area a great place for both swimming and relaxation.

The swimming area has good facilities with a volleyball court, a gazebo, barbecue facilities, seating and toilets by the parking lot. The old Blåfjellbanen railway runs nearby, and the area is a good starting point for a short walk before or after a swim. Pole hunting nearby also provides an extra activity for those who wish.

Hølan

«"Hølan" (often referred to as Hølan in Rekedal) is a popular and idyllic freshwater swimming spot in Sokndal. The place offers good swimming opportunities.

Hammerhølen in Åna-Sira

Hammerhølen is located centrally in Åna-Sira, right next to Joker, and is a pleasant swimming spot with fresh water and good facilities. The area is developed with a sandy beach, seating areas and barbecue facilities.

The tail in Rekedal

Not far from Hølen is Halen in Rekedal. The quiet surroundings make this a popular place for a refreshing dip on hot summer days.

Onion bay

Løgevik is a sheltered natural harbor and bathing spot on the coast of Sokndal. At the innermost part of the cove is a small sandy beach that makes the area popular with locals, paddlers and boaters alike. 

Remember that Sokndal municipality has extended the leash ban from 1 April to 31 October. If the water flow is low, you should check the municipality's recommendations for bathing water quality. Dogs and horses are also prohibited from bathing at public bathing areas. We ask everyone to respect this.
