Stop 1: Flekkefjord – The Dutch Town

Start your journey in Flekkefjord, wandering through its white wooden Dutch quarter, narrow streets and coastal cafés and small shops. If you stay overnight, take a short trip to Hidra, reached by a free ferry. The island offers quiet harbours, coastal paths and easy viewpoints — perfect for a peaceful detour with strong coastal heritage.

Stop 2: Hidra and towards Sogndalstrand

After breakfast, travel by ferry to the island of Hidra. Explore the island by e-bike, with or without a guide, visiting Hågåsen fortress and the fishing village of Kirkehamn. The tour offers panoramic views, local history and an authentic glimpse of coastal life.

Lunch is served at Isbua by the harbour in Kirkehamn, before cycling back and returning to the mainland by ferry. In the afternoon, choose between high-speed excitement at Motorcenter Norway or a cultural visit to Jøssingfjord Science Museum.

Later, check in at Sogndalstrand Kulturhotell, located in a protected tiny town of historic wooden houses. Take a gentle walk through the narrow streets of Sogndalstrand before enjoying dinner at the hotel, known for its focus on local produce and warm hospitality.

Stop 3: From tiny town to Egersund

After breakfast, choose between different morning experiences. Join a nostalgic boat trip on MS Sjødis along the coast, or explore Jøssingfjord, the houses beneath Helleren and the via ferrata for a more active start.

Continue to Egersund and check in at Grand Hotel Egersund. Lunch is served at Hauen Kro in the preserved wooden district, followed by a guided walk through the historic town centre, learning about fires, rebuilding and everyday life through the centuries.

In the afternoon, the group may split by interest: whisky tasting at Berentsen Brygghus for adults, or frisbee golf in the Vannbassengene recreation area for all ages. The day ends with a harbour sauna and dinner in historic surroundings.
