Sokndal is located between the towns of Flekkefjord and Egersund along Fv. 44/Nordsjøvegen.
Distances: Stavanger 110 km, Kristiansand 150 km, Flekkefjord 40 km and Egersund (train station) 30 km. Stavanger Airport Sola 100 km.
Coming by car from the west: Signs from the E39 at Krossmoen to Sokndal. Follow the signs through Egersund to Sokndal - with the municipal centre Sokndal.
Coming by car from the east: Signs from the E39 in Flekkefjord to Sokndal. Follow the signs through Flekkefjord and further along Fv. 44/Nordsjøvegen. You will first reach Åna-Sira, then Jøssingfjord, before reaching the municipal centre of Hauge in Dalane.
Experience the spectacular nature along the coast from Kristiansand in the south to Haugesund in the west. Plan your journey for a day, a week or a month. It doesn't matter if you come on two or four wheels.
If you take a trip along Nordsjøvegen, you'll be left with a wide variety of experiences for both adults and children. The scenery is overwhelmingly beautiful, so it's worth setting aside some time to savour the moments along the way.
