PADEL in Egersund

The pace of tennis, the precision of squash

Padel is the sport that combines the pace of tennis, the precision of squash and the sociability of team play - all wrapped up in one energetic experience. Easy to learn, impossible to put down and perfect for beginners and competitors alike. Whether you want effective exercise, laughter with friends or adrenaline-fuelled duels, padel is the fastest growing sport that gives you everything in one go.

The game is played two against two and walls are used around the court. A forearm serve starts the game and the court lines are only used during the serve. The ball must always hit the floor first before being returned to the opponent's side. If the ball bounces more than once in your half of the court, you lose the point. The counting system is the same as in tennis.

The game is sociable, quick to learn and easy to master right from the start.

Developed in Mexico in 1969, padel is one of the fastest growing sports in the world. In Spain, padel is the second largest sport, with more than 13 million players worldwide (2021). In Argentina, even football is beaten by padel in terms of the number of athletes.

If you want to play Padel in Egersund, it's perfectly possible, you'll find the course 2.2 km from the city centre in Sjukehusveien 24.

Egersund Racketklubb has an online booking system for booking lessons.
