Holmen in the sea gap
Sundsgabsholmen is one of the beautiful islands in a small archipelago located in the northern entrance to Egersund, and is only accessible by boat. The island is clad in rock pine and surrounded by impressively steep rocky beaches, providing a spectacular natural experience. The island is equipped with a jetty, mooring buoys, toilets and information, and is a natural part of the West Coast Park - an important boating area in the region.
Sundsgabsholmen (75 daa) belongs to an area purchased by the state for outdoor recreation, and is an idyllic destination for those who want to experience the tranquillity of nature. The area is managed and maintained by the municipality and the archipelago service, which ensures that the facilities are kept in top condition. The island is a perfect place for boaters seeking a peaceful break in the archipelago of Western Norway.
