After several years as a pastry chef, Marte has moved home to carry on something Egersund has been missing: real, fresh pastries made from scratch - with heart, butter and good traditions. At Symre, you'll find everything from the legendary hot cross buns and S's from the Kalles era, to freshly buttered breakfast breads, juicy cinnamon buns, fluffy school buns, pizza buns, doughnuts and not least delicious cakes for both weekdays and weekends.

There's something special about a local baker who preserves traditions. Marte is one of the people who make Egersund a little sweeter, a little warmer and much better smelling.
