This 60-metre-long stone bridge is the largest and best-preserved of its kind in the Nordic region. With its 21 light openings with stone slabs above, it is an impressive sight.
Terland Klopp was built around 1800 and is a so-called stone bascule bridge. It is supported by 22 stone pillars and is built of flat blocks of stone with staff stones as handrails. Its width varies between 1.1 and 1.95 metres. It was probably built around 1800 and was closed to traffic in 1977. In 1986 it was restored and in 1988 it was listed by the National Heritage Board.
Terland Klopp crosses the river Gyaåne in Gyadalen just a few kilometres from Helleland and is easily accessible. It is possible to walk or cycle across the bridge.
