Nesvåghålo – a gem in Sokndal

Nesvåghålo, a well-hidden treasure in the outermost sea gap at Nesvåg

Nesvåghålo is a pothole formed by flowing water under a melting glacier. If you go up behind Nesvåghålo you will find a smaller pothole where the stone that has been responsible for the excavation job is actually still in the pot.

An eventful trip, where you can get a beautiful view of the water, nature and the charming view along the path. The tour goes along the cliffs so you have a panoramic view all the way.

Parking: At Nesvåg village house
Access: From Nesvåg grendehus, turn left and follow the blue signs along the whole walk.
Warning: The trip is not safe when there are high seas and wet weather.
Length: 2.3 km round trip

After a trip to Nesvåghålo, we can recommend a visit to Nesvåg Sea and motor museum.
