Tourism in the region is to be developed and Magma Geopark has a central role in coordinating this work. Knowledge and expertise about different offers and opportunities for visitors in the region is important.

Last week, we therefore organised a course for tourist hosts and people who have a lot of contact with tourists. The course was held in Jøssingfjord Science Museum and had 20 participants. The focus was on co-operation and using offers and experiences across the municipalities.

We want our visitors to stay in the region for a long time, so the entire region must be utilised. The new website was presented to the participants. The website was then used in group work to put together different experience packages across the municipal boundaries.
