How to get to Egersund

Bil: The E39 runs through the municipality 10 km from the city centre. Fv.44 (Nordsjøvegen) runs along the coast and through the city centre. One hour drive to Stavanger Airport, Sola.

Train: Jærbanen and Sørlandsbanen both stop in Egersund, and the station is a 10-15 minute walk from the city centre. Find tickets here.

Boat: Egersund guest harbour is a sheltered and warm harbour. The harbour itself is located in the inner harbour basin, in the centre of Egersund. Read more about the guest harbour.

Transport in Egersund

bus: The bus station is centrally located in Jernbaneveien, on the other side of the AMFI shopping centre. Find itineraries here.
