Bergeheia Challenge - one peak, one trail, two challenges

Are you ready to test your fitness and determination? Bergeheia Challenge is a duathlon that takes you straight to the top - from Moi station to the summit of Bergeheia, with over 400 vertical metres and a view that takes your breath away as much as the climb. The most beautiful duathlon of the year takes place on the first Saturday in June.

This isn't a Sunday walk - it's a challenge. But the rewards are great: fresh air, burning thighs and the feeling of having reached the top - literally.

With a joint start from Moi Station and finish at Lindtjørnknuten, 731 metres above sea level. 22 kilometres of cycling and 7 kilometres of cross-country running take you past hayfields and cultural monuments, across marshes and magnificent rock formations in a genuine UNESCO Magma Geopark landscape. After almost 30 km and 900 metres of elevation gain, you'll reach the summit cairn and receive life's most deserved hamburger!
