Lindøy Batteri is a historic coastal fortress from the 16th century, built during the reign of Christian IV, and stands as a memorial to past defences. Located at the entrance to Egersund harbour, the fort offers a spectacular view of both the southern and northern straits. Here you can explore the restored gunpowder house, the cannons and the beautiful aluminium figure "Linda", created by artist Hanny T. Konttinen.
