Moi Båtsportklubb - Swimming area, hiking trail and boating

Moi Båtsportklubb has developed into a meeting point for both speed-loving boaters and those seeking nature experiences and fellowship. From boat races to boat harbours, the club has created an important recreational area at Lundevannet, which is used extensively by both residents and visitors.

The boat harbour is popular, and the club manages both the purchase and rental of moorings. Prices for purchases vary from NOK 10,000 to NOK 22,000, and there is a waiting list. Renting a berth costs up to NOK 1,450 per year, again with a waiting list. Launching a boat, on the other hand, is completely free, and an extended launch ramp makes it possible to launch a boat even at low water levels in winter.

In order to ensure safety in the area, the club places buoys every year to mark the bathing areas. It is important to note that there is a maximum speed limit of 5 knots when you are within 50 metres of these buoys. An overview map of the shallows in Lundevannet is displayed at the clubhouse for the benefit of all boaters.

The club has a clear outdoor profile. It is possible to take a boat from Lundevannet to Tonstad, but this requires both knowledge of the river and a sufficient water level. Moi Båtsportklubb has also restored the old Nøkken jetty at the school and built a new jetty at Solbjørg, which provides access to a beautiful hiking trail in the area.

The clubhouse is shared with Lund Hunters' and Fishermen's Association and Dalane Friluftsråd, which offers outdoor equipment hire. In addition, the club co-operates with Lund Fire Brigade, which has access to the club's boat in emergencies.

We are proud to contribute to the well-being and development along Lundevannet, and welcome new members, boaters and outdoor enthusiasts!
