Motorcenter Norway – Norway's most complete motorsport center

Motorcenter Norway is situated 250 meters above sea level in Kroheia, Sokndal. Here, both natural and cultural experiences abound, making the region a perfect destination for wheel-based adventures. Feel the adrenaline as a driver on the racetrack or in the off-road course.

The motorsport facility is located in Sokndal, approximately halfway between Stavanger and Kristiansand. Here you will find the country's only motocross hall and a large area for off-road driving.

The track meets international standards and was designed by APEX Circuit Design according to FIA Grade 3 and FIM Grade B specifications. This ensures high safety standards for both spectators and drivers. The motorsport facility is also planned to include a drag strip, go-kart track, service buildings, pit garages, and grandstands. All these facilities are designed to enhance the experience of the activities offered. The facility is being constructed and owned by KNA Raceway AS, and it is operated by Motorcenter Norway AS.

The facility hosts exciting events, but you can also book it for races, training sessions, enthusiast gatherings, team-building activities, or other events.

Packages at the Racing Track

With us, you get a unique driving experience, on a racing track that stands out from the rest. In our BMW track cars with roll cage, racing wheel and racing seat, you can test and develop your driving skills through 14 turns and 2,324 linear metres. The track also has a height difference of 23 metres, making it a fun carousel. We have 3 different packages on the racing track and 2 packages in the offroad.

Track driving

Driver's meeting where you get a review of safety and theory before the experience.
1 lap with a track car to familiarize yourself with the track.
5, 10 or 15 laps as a driver in a racing car (11.6km) / (23.2km) / (34.2km).
1 round of cooling down the car.
Helmet and driving suit.

We also have a cool off-road area that many people want to use, especially companies and stag parties. This can be done as an activity alone, or in addition to the packages on the racing track mentioned above.

Off-road driving

10 min per person 2 trails
30 min per person, various trails

Here, you drive with an instructor in the car as a "map reader", guiding you in terms of safety and rollover risk. You can sit in the back seat while others drive their laps. The cars we have are Pajeros that are rigged with off-road wheels and chassis.
