Whisky tasting at Berentsens Distillery

Welcome our «Tasting Center», Whiskyhall and Distillery. You can choose between «Vardberg Whisky Tour», «Spirit of Berentsens Tour» or our «Gin Tasting Tour». Each tour have their own unique story, and you will learn about production, each products Norwegian ingredients and taste. You will be walking in the Whisky hall and tasting the unique products in our Visitor Centre.

Vardberg Whisky Tour

You’re welcomed at our Visitor Centre down by the river side. As the tour starts, a cold, complimentary, locally produced beer is served, and enjoyed while listening to the story of why and how Vardberg Whisky has gotten its name. After a short story, we wander through the Whisky Hall and explore the production and process that makes Vardberg Whisky unique. The story telling continues, and you’ll get an insight into maturation and barrel/cask ageing, and we offer a little surprise.The tour ends back in our Visitor Centre and Tasting Room, but not before you’ve had the chance to enjoy three types of Vardberg Whisky in a guided tasting.
The tour returns to the Tasting Centre, where we guide you through a tasting and experience of three types of Vardberg Whisky.

Participants must be over 20 years old.

Tasting and tour in our Tasting Centre and Distillery?

We can accommodate groups of up to 70 people in our Tasting Centre for guided tours and tastings. We can also offer delicious food for an evening out. This is popular with companies, as team building, for teams and associations or for a group of friends.

If you are an individual, we have Drop In several days a month, on Saturdays for most of the year and more during the summer months.
