The Tough and the Delicate with Bjørn and Bjarte

BJØRN EIDSVÅG AND BJARTE TJØSTHEIM ON TOUR – LAUGHTER, MUSIC AND A TOUCH OF GRACE

Two of Norway's most beloved artists, Bjørn Eidsvåg and Bjarte Tjøstheim, are joining forces for a very special tour. With a unique combination of warmth, humour and musical quality, they invite the audience to an evening filled with laughter, wonder and reflection.

Eidsvåg and Tjøstheim have known each other for several years. They've bantered and joked together on Radioresepsjonen, and Bjørn has guest-starred on Bjarte's TV series Presten, where, among other things, he played a slightly tipsy version of himself. 

Now they are joining forces, wit and what little wisdom they possess, in a joint performance. There will be jokes and banter, but they will also attempt to reflect on questions big and small; they are good at wondering. Both have a church background, both have experienced faith and doubt, and both know what it's like to fall short. They are both tough and delicate, and not least good at passing merciless judgments on themselves. At the same time, they hunt for grace, for someone who can accept them as they are.

The audience can expect a performance filled with laughter, music, and food for thought. Eidsvåg's eminent band will provide musical substance, and Tjøstheim will also contribute with his rhythmic skills. Whether it will be uplifting and soul-stirring, is unknown. But it will definitely not be boring, the performance is too short for that.

"In Autumn 2025, we performed 38 shows of "Bjørn & Bjarte, the tough and the sensitive". We've had a break now, but are soon ready for another run. This is some of the best I've done in my career. Sharing the stage with Bjarte Tjøstheim is a joy. I cry and laugh during every performance. Now I'm super ready to continue with this throughout 2026 too."
