Magma Geopark

Lund is part of the unique Magma Geopark, a UNESCO-approved geological area with dramatic rock formations, lush valleys and rare rocks - an eldorado for nature lovers, geology enthusiasts and active hikers. In Drangsdalen you can experience Norway in miniature, with steep mountainsides, mighty waterfalls and the chance to see golden eagles soaring over the landscape.

With around 3,200 inhabitants in the three villages of Moi, Hovsherad and Heskestad/Ualand, you'll find a hospitable local community surrounded by beautiful and wild nature.
