In the heart of southern Rogaland lies Lund - a place where nature meets man, and past meets future. Here you'll find Hovsherad, Ualand and Moi - three villages, each with its own soul, but with common roots in community, creativity and pride.
From trampolines and volleyball at Eik, to singing stones and old tufts at Hellerstunet. From robbery stories in the mountains to the smell of barbecue in the park at Ualand. There's room for both adventure and reflection, for activity and relaxation.
Lund is not just a place you visit - it's a place you become a part of. A place where you can create your own memories, find your own rhythm and perhaps write your own story.
Lund is part of the unique Magma Geopark, a UNESCO-approved geological area with dramatic rock formations, lush valleys and rare rocks - an eldorado for nature lovers, geology enthusiasts and active hikers. In Drangsdalen you can experience Norway in miniature, with steep mountainsides, mighty waterfalls and the chance to see golden eagles soaring over the landscape.
With around 3,200 inhabitants in the three villages of Moi, Hovsherad and Heskestad/Ualand, you'll find a hospitable local community surrounded by beautiful and wild nature.
In addition to nature experiences, Lund offers a rich cultural history and living traditions. Explore the historic Culture Trail in the centre of Moi, visit local craft businesses, or take part in small and large events that showcase genuine village life.
