The North Sea Race from Egersund to Sandnes

The Nordsjørittet is a cycling race through the varied Jær landscape, with distances for both experienced cyclists, exercisers and families. The main 87-kilometer race runs from Egersund to Sandnes. Along the way, participants cycle through forests, cultural landscapes and open coastal areas and follow parts of the Nordsjøveien, the Vestlandske Hovedveg and the historic Kongevegen.

A shorter distance of 40 kilometers from Nærbø to Sandnes is also offered. For families and others who want a shorter bike ride, the Family Ride is organized, which is around 13 kilometers from Stavanger to Sandnes along the Sykkelstamvegen.

The North Sea Race is suitable for participants with different ambitions and levels. You decide the pace yourself, whether the goal is a good placement, a personal challenge or a social day on the bike.
