Why is it called Agder and what does the name mean? Why was so much gold buried in the ground in the 500s? What did Øysteinshaugen on Gyland contain? Why did someone write runes on a stone on Hidra around the year 450? Come and learn more about the region's golden age, the Migration Period (375-550 AD).
The speaker is Samuel Høiland from Tingvatn Fornminnepark, Vest-Agder Museum. He is a trained historian and works as project manager in "Future for the past - the Lister migration period", which is a cultural tourism initiative from the county council, four Lister municipalities, Åseral and the Vest-Agder Museum.
