Follow the old Malmbanen railway route, once used to transport iron ore from Blåfjell Mines to Rekefjord. Soon you reach the iron bridges from the 1860s and the impressive Ruggesteinen – a 74-ton rocking stone and a local geological treasure. It’s a natural midpoint pause before continuing deeper into the landscape.
