Walk among turf roofed log houses and historic structures that reflect Norwegian building traditions.
Watch candles being made by hand, discover unique colours and designs. Here, both children and adults can dip and decorate their own candles to take home. No booking is required, simply ask in the shop.
Take the hike to Vinjakula for wide views across valleys and mountains, especially striking in clear weather. Majestic Vinjakula is the highest peak in the Magma Geopark at 907 meters above sea level and offers a magnificent panoramic view in an exciting and wild landscape in the north-east of Bjerkreim.
Paddle through calm fjord waters surrounded by steep mountains, offering a peaceful and scenic way to experience the landscape.
The Gloppedalsura Via Ferrata takes you inside Northern Europe’s largest stone scree, up through huge boulders, narrow passages, and steep sections secured with fixed cables and steel steps. You don’t climb very high, but move all the more between and under the huge boulders. You’ll be thankful for the helmet when you’re eeling through tight passages.
