Hike to Månafossen and Mån

A family-friendly hike to one of Rogaland’s most impressive waterfalls.

The hike begins at Eikeskog and follows a well-marked trail with steps and some steeper sections, secured with chains where needed. Along the way, several viewpoints offer spectacular views of Månafossen, ranked among Norway’s top waterfalls. Continue a little further to reach Mån, where the restored mountain farm tells the story of life in this dramatic landscape until 1915. The hike is considered easy and takes around two hours round trip.
