Sirdalslåmi invites you to a unique skiing experience in Sirdal's beautiful winter landscape - a new ski race that brings together businesses, cabin dwellers and skiers for a day filled with activity, nature experiences and a great atmosphere. The event is organised by Gjesdal IL and Tonstad IL, with start and finish at Sinnes school.Participants can choose between two classic-style trail options. The short course of around 17 kilometres is a fitness class without timekeeping, perfect for those who want a great ride through the winter landscape at their own pace. For those who want a greater challenge, there is a longer trail of around 27 kilometres with both a fitness class and a competition class. The trails run through scenic areas in Sirdal, with sections across open plains and into the mountains, before returning to the finish area at Sinnes school.The race starts at 11.00 for the long course and 11.05 for the short course. There will be a drinks station along the way, and food and drink will be waiting at the finish line for everyone who completes the race. The event also provides a social meeting place with changing rooms and a large heated tent at the finish area, where there will be music and sales of food and drink throughout the day.The evening continues with AfterSki at Fjellstua for those who want to extend the experience. There will be a DJ, a great atmosphere and a concert by the band Trang Fødsel, known for creating an energetic and festive atmosphere.Sirdalslåmi is more than just a ski race - it's a winter day filled with fellowship, mastery and great experiences in Sirdal's magnificent nature.
