The starting point for Witch Hunt is the story of Barbo Bjelland from Sokndal, who was burned at the stake in 1622. This was during the time of the witch trials and Barbro was sentenced to "burn at the stake" because of witchcraft and witchcraft. The play takes place in the present. We meet a school class where Sofie is a student. She doesn't like school and often runs away. One day she meets Johanne, whom the others call a witch... Parallels are drawn between the witch hunt in the 17th century and the witch hunt of today. The performance takes place on Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23. This is a perfect opportunity to experience outdoor theater in beautiful surroundings in Sogndalstrand Amfi - so secure your ticket before the seats are gone!
