Award-winning Spanish piano virtuoso Xavi Torres is one of the most outstanding young musicians on the European jazz scene. His music is highly imaginative and melodic, yet rhythmically very strong and energetic. He combines his Mediterranean roots with experiences from his studies in Amsterdam, classical music and South American rhythms. His compositions and interaction with the band are constantly evolving and involve a great deal of exploration, which makes each concert unique and takes the audience through a wide range of emotions.
