Egersund - meeting at the new tourist office, Eigersund
Join Arnt Olav Klippenberg on a vivid and entertaining journey through Egersund's history. For years, he has taken both tourists and residents on his popular "Løyen byvandring", known for good stories and easy laughs.
Now he is launching a brand new route where the Viking Age is important. The hike starts at Hedningholmen, where a gods' court was probably located in the Viking Age. From there, the tour follows the development of the city through the Middle Ages and all the way to today's Egersund.
Arnt Olav Klippenberg is a former journalist at Stavanger Aftenblad. Today he works as a full-time author, specializing in lectures and novels from the Viking Age.
