Dressed for the occasion

Before we've said a single word, our clothes have said something about us.   In this summer's new exhibition "Dressed for the Occasion", we explore how we are – and have always been – dressed for different occasions, how clothing has signaled status, belonging, power and identity, and how valuable clothing has been.
